A few years ago I heard about baby boxes being given to parents in Finland. Boxes are given to new parents along with education on safe sleep. In Finland the baby box is a free resource for parents to have somewhere safe to put their baby down to sleep. Starting this program in Finland reduced infant death from SIDS to less than half of the U.S.
